- Both homes are in Residential zoning and have applied for a Special Use Permit to allow continuation as vacation rentals. Residential zoning is more likely to be approved than Agricultural zoning.
- Both properties have been inspected by the County and no red flags were identified. They are in a waiting phase to see if they’ll get approved.
Bamboo House – the first is located in Wainiha, about 10 minutes north of Hanalei town. It’s one lot back from the Highway, with ocean views over the treetops. Walk about two blocks and you’re at the beach.
